On Friday it was locked up for the last time.

The police station has not had response officers based there for five years. It was a neighbourhood policing station.

All staff who worked there are to be relocated to the central Preston Police station on Lancaster Road.

The station has been used for more than 100 years.

In 2011 it was announced Fulwood would be one of a number of police stations to be closed and sold off, to raise £4.5 million for the police.
