Firefighters put out chip pan blaze in Deepdale flat

Fire crews took a man to safety after a chip pan fire in Deepdale.

A crew from Preston Fire Station were dispatched at 2.54pm on Friday to Osbourne Way.

They found a chip pan on fire and smoke throughout the flat.

A man was treated for suffering smoke inhalation.

Severe smoke damage was caused to the whole flat.
