Wilson’s Butchers had traded on Blackpool Road since 1966 but closed in 2012.

Katie Birch, from Penwortham, has applied to convert the building into an office with a one-bedroom flat above.

An outbuilding in a rear yard is to be demolished and two parking spaces created.

The full plans are available to view on the council website.
