Photographers across Preston and beyond have been out snapping the city.

In seven categories for pictures they have come flooding in showing Preston from different angles and lights.

Below are a few of the entries for Snap That Preston we’ve liked the look of so far.

The photo competition is being run by Preston’s Business Improvement District (Preston BID) and the winner takes home £400 worth of vouchers from competition sponsors Wilkinson Cameras.

The seven categories are:

– People
– Events
– Shopping
– Commerce & Business
– Leisure
– Preston In Bloom
– Preston In The Sun

The best image in each category is to be displayed in the St George’s Shopping Centre.

To enter you need to upload your pictures to the Preston Flickr group and name them Snap That Preston and label them with the category entered.

Any entries already posted to Flickr need to be added to the Preston group and correctly titled up.

All entries must be posted by end of the day on Saturday 26 April.

A team of judges will then review the entries and pick a winner in each category and an overall winner.
