The RSPCA Preston & District Branch are looking for foster carers for cats and dogs.

They recently updated their facebook page with this appeal: “The majority of animals rehomed by the Preston RSPCA Centre spend their time with us in the kennels or cattery but some special cases need the extra care and attention of a one-to-one foster home before they are ready to be rehomed.

“We are looking for loving families to give these animals the extra bit of love that they need.

“We are looking for new fosterers to give a temporary home to cats and dogs for a variety of reasons; they may have just had an operation and need quiet rest to recover, mothers with new-born kittens/pups, or especially animals that are very stressed being in an animal centre environment and not coping well.”

The branch will make a home visit to all potential fosterers and they will provide supported while caring for the animals. This includes food and vet bills.
