Preston is still stunned by the death of its favourite son, Sir Tom Finney.

As North End push for a promotion place to the Championship, despite the storm clouds created by the spot-fixing scandal, you can be sure Sir Tom will be looking down with keen interest at what’s happening on the pitch.

Gentry Day is approaching and a chance once more for North End fans to show they are the best in class.

We hope this pictorial tribute above is a small token to a great man, whose death has left a hole in the fabric of our community.

Rest in Peace. Sir Tom.
