Police appeal as missing Blackburn boy could be in Preston

A 15-year-old boy with links to Preston could be in the city area.

Callum Nairn, from Blackburn, hasn’t been in touch with friends or family since Wednesday 16 April.

He was last seen on Cherry Tree Lane at 7.30pm and L:ancashire Police say he could be in the Preston area.

Callum’s family today made an emotional appeal and said: “We are all really worried about Callum and just want him to make contact. We miss him and want to know he is safe.”

Det Insp Jes Holland said: “If anybody has any information about Callum’s current or recent whereabouts then I would urge them to get in touch.

“We are concerned for Callum’s welfare due to his age and we and his family just want to know that he is safe.

“I’d like to appeal directly to Callum to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”

Callum is described as white, of slim build with short, dark brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue body warmer and a red top.
