Fire at waste compound in Deepdale

Preston firefighters tackled a blaze at a waste compound in Deepdale.

A crew from Preston Fire Station were called to South Meadow Street due to a fire involving rubbish.

They used one hose reel and a saw in putting out the fire at 12.31pm on Wednesday.

Severe damage was caused to the roof of the compound.
