A Preston business is offering three charities the chance to win a share of £5,000.
AdvertisementThe Easter Charity Challenge is being organised by The Safe Shop as part of the Easter Egg Rolling tradition in Avenham Park.
Representatives from 10 charities will be racing around the park to find clues to try and unlock three safes – which hold the cash.
Anthony Neary, Managing Director, The Safe Shop said: “There are so many great charities in the region, many of which rely entirely on fundraising, and we’re keen to give something back and help support them in their activities.
“As a Preston based company we’re keen to support those making a positive impact in our community.”
There are 16 local charities on the shortlist to take part in the challenge, but only 10 can be selected.
The Safe Shop are running a vote on their website to whittle down the charities.
You can vote for your top three charities, all votes must be cast by 4pm on Friday 11 April.
The challenge itself takes place on Monday 21 April in Avenham Park from 12noon to 1pm.
