Come and help brighten up Preston City Centre for Spring.
Preston Environmental Forum (PEF) is planning lots exciting environmental projects for the coming year.
One of these projects involves monthly sessions to work and prepare flower beds in the city. Volunteers are very welcome. They ask you wear appropriate clothing and footwear, as well bringing your spade or fork.
PEF’s project is at the Corn Exchange flower beds. Large beds near the Corn Exchange pub, running from the bottom of Lune Street to the junction of Friargate and the Ring Road.
The PEF aim to keep the flower beds looking fantastic with colourful plants that are also great for bees and butterflies.
However, they need your help.
The Forum has started work by organising volunteer sessions to prepare the beds for spring. They will be organising more activities for volunteers to help make the beds look great so if you would like to get involved please get in touch!

10:00 – 12:00, Sunday 9th March
