The February/March issue includes a fascinating piece on the mysterious ‘mound’ on Ashton Park plus articles from Past Preston.

The Diary of James Green, a Preston man from 8th King’s Liverpool Regiment stationed in France during the Great War makes interesting reading as does the memories of ‘A Preston Lad’.

A fourth extract from Joshua’s War, a soldier’s diary from the trenches of WWI, is also included.

Copies of the free magazine can be found in Preston Museums, The Tourist Information Centre and Preston Town Hall.
