Police had raided the takeaway in June last year after a tip off that a number of illegal immigrants were working at the premises.

The owner of the takeaway admitted employing illegal immigrants and not checking documents.

The UK Border Agency interviewed Pizza City owner Mr Mohammed Tariq, and issued a £10,000 fine for each person found working at the takeaway.

Lancashire Police asked for a licensing review, where councillors were told the licence holder for Pizza City has now changed and new management would be taking charge.

Councillors decided to take no action.
