Barclays customers please note: the branch on Fishergate partially closed services from 1st March after announcing changes.

The Fishergate branch no longer has any Counter Service facility and from Monday 24th March it will close completely.

Wednesday 26th March is the estimated date for the re-opening of the new style, new look branch.

During this period of disruptions the bank advises customers that other nearby branches will be happy to help you and thanks customers for their patience.

Back in January Barclays denied it was planning a significant reduction to its branch network, amid speculation that up to a quarter of its 1,600 sites in the UK could close. So it is good news to see the bank re-invest at its prime city centre location.

The nearest Preston branch is at Moor Park, 31 Garstang Road, Preston, PR1 1LA
