Jason Hewitt signing copies of his book

A new book is to be launched at the Museum of Lancashire in Preston this coming Saturday.

The Dynamite Room written by Jason Hewitt is his debut novel.

Jake Hope from the SilverDell bookshop said getting Hewitt to launch the book at the Second World War street in the museum.

The novel follows the story of Lydia and her growing up in Suffolk in the 1940s.

Jake said: “The Dynamite Room’ has already been causing waves within the book and publishing worlds and is hailed as the next big thing so it’s a real coup to be able to host this event in Preston.”

The event takes place on Saturday 5 April from 2pm. Tickets are £2 which can be redeemed against purchase of the book on the day.
