Hopefully now just a bad memory, pictures of the recent appalling weather that wreaked havoc across Preston.

The gale force winds badly affected the North West and Preston in particular. The worst storm seen in the area for many years.

Trees were brought down all over the city. Slates ripped from roofs, walls collapsed, billboards torn apart. Luckily no one was injured but the damage was estimated to costs thousands.
