Preston Bus announced Sharoe Green Lane will be closed for West bound traffic from junction of Green Drive to junction with A6 Garstang Road.

Repairs need to be made to a leaking water main.

The road will be closed between 8am to 4pm from Monday 17th Feb to Wednesday 19th Feb.

Preston Bus will operate a free shuttle bus through the Broadwood Estate, Garstang Road, back to Royal Preston Hospital (RPH). This can be used to connect with 88A (or the 23) at the Garstang Road bus stop.

Service disruptions include delays to the 19A, 88C, 23 and 88A due to the roadworks and diversions.

Outbound services 23 & 88C will operate normally but diversions will be in place for the inbound 23 and 88A. Service 23 will be diverted via Eastway and Garstang Road to Black Bull Traffic lights, then normal route.

Passengers travelling west to Black bull Lane, Plungington and the city will have to board outside Booths and travel to Asda first.

Service 88A will be diverted via Eastway and Garstang Road, and will not serve RPH.
