Resurfacing works overnight on A6 north of Broughton roundabout

Traffic at the Broughton roundabout is often backed up due to congestion on the A6

Resurfacing of the A6 is expected to slow traffic on the road overnight.

Lancashire County Council have announced major resurfacing work on the stretch of the road north of the Broughton roundabout.

The work will take place between 8pm and 6am during the following periods:

4 April – 17 April
23 April – 2 May
6 May – 10 May

It follows the Broughton roundabout roadworks which finished just before Christmas.
