Police report a week of multi-agency action taking place in Preston.

Next week on the 17th, 18th and 20th of February a combined Fire and Police untit will be focussing around the Plungington area.

A mobile fire station will be parked near to the Spar store on Plungington Road for any queries to be answered about crime and/or fire prevention. Feel free to visit if in the area.

Mounted patrols were in the area overnight and will be patrolling over the weekend tackling any anti-social behaviour and dealing with crime related incidents.

Following intelligence from the community a warrant was executed at an address in the Plungington area on last Thursday night (13th February). A a large mastiff type dog was seized along with a quantity of drugs. Police say enquiries are continuing
