The Avenham Park has stood empty for more than 7 years

A former Avenham pub is set to be converted into flats.

The Avenham Park on Avenham Lane is owned by Get Connected Ltd who have applied to change its use.

It was previously converted from a pub to gain permission to become offices in 2008 but owner Ismail Deedat now wants to make it into accommodation.

The interior will be converted into four self-contained apartment.

Lancashire County Council have not objected to the application, despite the pressures on parking spaces within the area.

The plans are currently with planning officers to make a decision on whether to allow the conversion.
