Video: Remember when The Hitman and Her came to Tokyo Jo’s

We were watching Sunday Brunch and Michaela Strachan was on, and she mentioned her time spent touring northern nightclubs as part of TV show The Hitman and Her.

A quick YouTube search later and we were transported back to 1991 in Preston and the Tokyo Jo’s nightclub.

Incredible scenes, including a fashion parade with Prestonians showing their best early 90s finery and Take That perform – with far too much flesh and leather on show.

You can watch the three parts of the show below, it used to be on very late on a Saturday night into Sunday morning. They don’t make TV like this any more do they?
