Police are appealing for information after a man performed a sex act at a Penwortham bus stop.

The incident took place just before 7pm on New Year’s Eve when a woman was waiting for a bus at a stop on Liverpool Road, Penwortham.

She noticed the man was pleasuring himself next to her.

The man, described as white, but with tanned skin, around 5’7″ in height with short dark hair, then got onto the same bus as the woman. She got off at Mere Brow, while he stayed on.

He was wearing a black bubble jacket and dark blue jeans.

Detective Inspector Damian Barrow from Lancashire Police said the same man could be responsible for two incidents of indecent exposure in Much Hoole which have taken place in recent weeks.
