Parade outside Preston’s Markets

Preston’s Markets were treated to a celebration of Chinese sound and colour on Friday morning.

Three parades took in the Indoor and Outdoor markets and the damp weather didn’t stop the Year of the Horse celebration.

Bernie Blackburn was down there to snap a few pictures of the festivities.

On Saturday a series of events and workshops are being held at the Harris Museum and Art Gallery for Chinese New Year.
