A 24-hour gym could be coming to Preston’s city centre.
AdvertisementDevelopers Worthington Properties have lodged plans to change a retail unit on North Road into a health and fitness centre.
No indication has been given over which provider could be taking the units on the business park within the St Georges ward.
The gym would be open 24-hours-a-day seven days a week.
It would be the first 24-hour gym in the city, the nearest gym with 24-hour access is currently in Chorley.
57 car parking spaces would be supplied as part of the 14,000 square metre development.
The units currently stand empty just off North Road.
The planning application is currently with the Preston City Council planning department for a decision.
