We’d like to take a moment to say Merry Christmas to all our readers.

Christmas is very nearly upon us and it’s been quite a year on Blog Preston, so we’ll definitely be raising a glass to all of you as we tuck into our dinner.

It’s our pleasure to provide you with a mix of community news, views and information about our good city.

This year has seen the site go from strength to strength, and it’s great to have such a committed team producing some great things for you to read.

We’ll be slowing down a little bit over Christmas to recharge our batteries but we will be back in the New Year with plenty more of the goings on in our city and the surrounding area.

Plus we’ll also be celebrating our fifth birthday. Yes, it’s FIVE years since we started up and got the ball rolling. More on that once January 11 rolls around.

Wishing you and your friends and families a safe, relaxed and peaceful Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
