The spires, old mill towers and brooding hills in the distance are a feature of Preston if viewed from the city.
AdvertisementUrban explorer scrappyNW, who has previously sent in photos of the St Joseph’s Orphanage and former Odeon cinema, took to the roof of the Harris to document the views.
Museum bosses asked him to clamber up and survey the view across the city centre.
He also took some stunning photos of the museum and art gallery itself, an architectural gem in the city.
The Harris is recognised by Preston City Council as being one of the key buildings in its new heritage investment strategy.
