In pictures: Beautiful sunset snapped over Preston

A stunning sunset had people across Preston reaching for their digital cameras and smartphones.

Around 4pm pictures quickly appeared across Twitter and Instagram as people looked up and saw red.

The sky over the city is been a proper Autumnal mix of orange, red and pink as the sun sets on what has been a crisp but nice day across the city and beyond.
