Preston decetives are appealing for information after a woman reported being raped in Preston.
The offence happened in the Avenham Lane area of the city in the early hours of the 21st of September 2013.
Detectives believe the victim has been talking to a man inside ‘Browns’ bar on Glovers Court in Preston on a night out.
After leaving the bar she was taken to an address on Avenham Lane where the incident occurred.
Police recently released CCTV images of a man they are looking to speak to in connection with the incident and are appealing for him, or anyone who knows him to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Steve Ryder who is investigating said; “I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have seen this man speaking to the victim inside Browns between the hours of 1am and 3am on Saturday 21st September.
“We have released an image of a man that we believe was in the area at the time of the offence and we are appealing for him or anyone who recognises him to come forward. If anyone has any other information that they think could help, I would ask them to contact us.”
