Police appeal after bank fraud offence in Preston

Police in Preston today released images of a man captured on CCTV that they need to trace after an attempted fraud at a bank in the city.

The man walked in the Royal Bank of Scotland on Lytham Road in Fulwood on Wednesday 31 July and attempted to withdraw £750 from a business account.

The man fled the bank after being asked to provide the necessary signatures.

PC Mark Lockyer commented: “The man who entered the bank had no authority to access any funds in this account and I would appeal to anybody that recognises him to contact me at Lancashire Police on 101.”
