Italian Market sets up on the Flag Market

Brave the Autumn wind and rain and visit the sunny continental market stalls on the Flag Market in the city centre.

We reported last week that the Italian Market follows on from the European Market in June.

This travelling, compact, colourful market will offer Lancashire folk the chance to try a great selection of Italian treats including sweet candy threads, a selection breads, marinated olives, brightly coloured fudge and a fascinating array of Italian sweets, pastries and desserts.

Plenty of free samples. Just ask for a taster before you buy.

You can visit the market stall from Friday 18 October until to Sunday 20 October.

Here are a couple of photos to whet your appetite
