Preston’s fringe festival returns for a fifth year with an eclectic mix of art, music and theatre.

The Preston Tringe started in 2009 and now boasts over 50 acts performing at seven venues across the city.

This year will see one of the festival’s founders, Sam Buist, welcome Tringe acts to its very own venue – the Korova Arts Cafe in the city centre.

The cafe opened in May this year and will host a number of Tringe events including the opening night on Saturday 14 September.

Michael J Dolan will perform his Edinburgh show Nothing Will Ever Be Alright Again, Ever.

He’ll be followed by Shh! music’s acoustic night featuring the Susie Jones Band.

The opening night at Korova will be free.

Most shows throughout the Tringe are a low ticket price (approximately £3).

The Tringe runs from Saturday 14 September to Saturday 28 September.

The full programme is available to view below and more details on the Tringe festival.
