Quick reminder if you need your car washing, get down to Preston Fire Station today and let Preston fire fighters do it for you!

The fire station is holding a car wash as part of a fund raising effort for The Fire Fighters Charity. It also happens to be National Car Wash month so you have no excuse to get your car cleaned.

The Fire Fighters Charity was set up in 1943 to help wounded fire fighters and provide support to their families during World War II.

They exist to help members of the fire and rescue community who put their lives on the line whilst protecting the public, as well as providing support for their families.

It costs over £9 million every year to keep the Charity running, and with no government funding, they are completely reliant upon donations from the general public and fire community.
