On Friday 2 August it was granted a licence to serve and sell alcohol at its new deli and bistro on Garstang Road.

Owned by Ettore Criscenti it is due to open on the site of the former Wineyard & Deli and will sell a mixture of Italian produce as well as house a cafe, wine bar and takeaway.

The application had faced an objection from a local resident, but their fears were dismissed by the city council’s licensing sub-committee.

No date has been set for its official opening.
