Owned by Ettore Criscenti it is due to open on the site of the former Wineyard & Deli and will sell a mixture of Italian produce as well as house a cafe, wine bar and takeaway.

The application had faced an objection from a local resident, but their fears were dismissed by the city council’s licensing sub-committee.

No date has been set for its official opening.
