Preston's Cenotaph has been undergoing a facelift

Work has been taking place to restore Preston’s Cenotaph.

Paul Melling was up on the Harris Flights and snapped this photo of the scaffolding taken away and the base of the monument revealed.

The white pillar to remember Preston’s war dead stands against the grey clouds overlooking Friargate.
