Preston Pals remembered in latest issue of the Preston Magazine

Front cover of the latest Preston Magazine

The latest edition of the Preston Magazine has been made available online.


Comprising a look at local history and nostalgia it is produced by Penwortham resident Heather Crook.

It includes a piece about the Preston Pals, by David Huggonson, which discovers the stories of young men who fought in the First World War.

Local pubs blogger Steve Halliwell, who is hosting a series of history talks throughout the summer, is also a regular contributor.
