Police appeal after police car rolls Land Rover responding to emergency call

Police are appealing for information following a collision involving a police car.

The incident happened at around 2.30pm on Saturday 13 July at the junction of Deepdale Road and Ribbleton Lane.

Police were responding to an emergency call when it came through the junction and collided with a black Land Rover Freelander which was rolled over. No one was hurt in the incident.

Sergeant Wayne Atherton of the Roads Policing Unit said, “There is an investigation underway to establish the full circumstances around the collision and I would appeal to any witnesses to come forward and contact us if they have not done so already.”
