Police in Preston have renewed their appeal for information after a teenager was stabbed.
AdvertisementThe incident, which Lancashire Police believe was a dispute between two groups, took place on Saturday 15 June.
The 17-year-old boy was out riding his bike when he was attacked and stabbed by a group of men.
He is still in Royal Preston Hospital in a “serious but stable” condition.
Two Preston men and a 16-year-old boy have all been charged with attempted murder and will appear at Preston Crown Court on Monday 8 July.
Detective Inspector Jo Edwards, of Preston police, said: “This is still very much an on-going investigation and we have a dedicated team of police officers working hard to establish exactly what happened. I would appeal for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward and contact us.”
Detective Chief Inspector Ian Dawson said: “I would reassure the public that our neighbourhood policing officers are working in the local community to provide reassurance.
“The key to building a picture of exactly what happened on that night will come from information within the community. I believe that there are people out there who have information about this incident and it is important that they come forward.”
Anyone with information is asked to speak to their local police officer, contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or on-line at Crimestoppers-uk.org.
