The latest event for the Preston Social will see Twitter users across the city come together.

Social will return to its roots over four years since the first Preston Tweetup took place in the Snug at the Continental.

Tweetups allow users of the Twitter site to come together, chat, discuss issues and meet people who they may only know online but in a safe environment.

The 23rd Preston Social will take place on Tuesday 28 May and will be at the Continental.

The organisers state: “This month’s Preston Social is, at it’s heart, a tweet-up; an opportunity for you to meet the people you tweet. During the evening, we’ll pick your brains about how to shape future events.

“The Preston Social is open to all: we have a regular mix of academics, business owners, students, Tweeters – the aim of Preston Social is to get Preston’s digital community together to learn, share, meet.”

Signing up for the event is free and can be done via Eventbrite.
