Despite being the coldest Easter on record nothing could stop a tradition dating back to Victorian times taking place in Avenham Park.
Hundreds of families turned out to roll their Easter Eggs down the slopes of the park towards the Ribble.
There will also be an Easter bonnet parade and coffee and cake from the Avenham Park pavilion.
We’ve put the best tweets and photos into a Storify below to show what happened on the day.
