Preston Environmental Forum (PEF) is looking for people to join their mailing list. Currently the list is just under 100 names.
PEF are offering a free vegetable starter pack, courtesy of Lancashire Wildlife Trust, to whoever becomes the 100th name.
The selection pack contains some garlic, onion sets, seed potatoes and various seeds.
PEF is a great way to find out what is happening environmentally in Preston and to let others know what you or your group are doing. It is also a way for everyone to work together to put Preston on the map as a place where people really do care about their local environment.
You can be included in the PEF mailing list by sending your email address to: p.greenwood@preston.gov.uk, or if you do not have an email address then either contact Paul Greenwood on 01772 906465 or posting your details to Paul Greenwood, Community Engagement, Third Floor, Town Hall, Preston, PR1 2RL.
If want to be involved further you can attend their regular meeting at different venues around the city. The next meeting will be at the Opportunities Centre space in the Students Union Building of University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) 27 February 18:00 to 20:00.
