Mayor’s charity ball to round off Guild year

Preston’s Guild Mayor will bring the curtain down on a busy year wearing the chains with a big bash at the Guild Hall.

The Mayor’s charity ball takes place on Friday 22 March and tickets have gone on sale.

The 2012 to 2013 stint as Mayor has been an eventful one for councillor Carl Crompton who played an important role in all the major ceremonial events at Preston Guild.

A three course meal, music from Saraban and local DJ Darrell Edwards will be part of the entertainment at the Guild Hall.

Tickets are £35 and the evening starts from 7pm and is expected to finish around 11pm.
