Don’t forget the Preston and District Branch of the RSPCA 10k sponsored walk on Sunday 10 February
On the brink of closure the Preston RSPCA needs your help. They only have funds to continue operating for the next 2 months.
They DO NOT receive any funding from the national RSPCA or the government. It is only your kind donations that keep the shelter going.
When I was there last visitors were shocked to discover the branch received no part of donations they made to the national RSPCA.
The branch needs a steady flow of donations to keep the bank happy while making as many economies with the little money they have
The Preston RSPCA say “With fewer people nowadays leaving legacies to the centre, we are more desperate than ever for your help to keep Preston and District Branch running. In an average year, our costs are around a staggering £240,000 and as a stand-alone charity, the animals at the centre are completely reliant upon your support.”
Why not take part in the sponsored walk or make a donation. Please don’t delay, as they are fast running out of time.
