Just announced the guest speaker for this years MWR Preston Sports Awards is Paralympian Jody Cundy MBE.
Jody, one of Britain’s most successful Paralympians, who won 5 Gold and 3 Bronze medals over 5 Paralympic Games, is one of the most versatile athletes in the world.
He has won World and Paralympic Gold medals for his country across two different sports – cycling and swimming.
Now one of the most popular events on Preston’s sporting calendar, the 8th Annual MWR Preston Sports Awards will be held on 8 March at Preston Guild Hall.
Celebrating the fantastic sporting achievements of 2012, together with Preston’s honour of being European City of Sport 2012, the awards will be going that extra mile this year.
