The Flag Market and Birley Street will be thronged with Christmas shoppers on Saturday 8 & Sunday 9 December, as the Christmas Lancashire Market returns.
AdvertisementMore than 100 traders will have stalls offering traditional Lancashire food, drink, gift and crafts.
The event, organised by Preston’s Business Improvement District, attracts thousands of shoppers every year and has now spawned three other markets during the year.
Events manager Mark Whittle said: “A few places regionally offer continental markets at this time of year, but no one does what we do, that’s why it’s proved to be so popular. We take the best that Lancashire has to offer and promote that as far and wide as possible.
“Tens of thousands of people have visited the Lancashire Market since they began in 2010, proving there’s a healthy appetite for family friendly events that offer, quality, local produce”.
Santa will be at the market with his reindeer from 5pm.
Free parking is available on the Sunday of the market at the Bus Staton and Market car park.
