Local Vintage & Craft and Advent Fayres

If you like to pick up quirky gifts or fancy a bit of culture with your shopping check out two events that are happening in the city this weekend. First up is the Christmas Vintage and Craft Fair at Lancashire Archives on Bow Lane on Saturday 24th November. There will be stalls selling all things vintage, exhibitions of archives, Victorian dresses, vintage hair styling and make up, craft activities and refreshments. On Sunday 25th November is St Walburges Advent Fayre, the Parish centre next to the church will host a variety of stalls selling jewellery, toys, cakes, gifts plus Father Christmas will be paying a visit and there are trips up the steeple. Oh yes and the bar will be open serving draught beer at £2 a pint.
