A great pre-Christmas event to get you in the festive mood. A performance of Charles Dickens’ Christmas tales at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston

Organised by Dickens fan Dr Theresa Saxon, a Senior Lecturer in English Literature at UCLan, ‘Dickens at Christmas’ is reading and performance highlighting Dickens’ Christmas tales.

The Lancaster Theatre Productions will present the free performance, featuring scenes from the classic ‘A Christmas Carol’ and will unveil fascinating facts from Dickens life and entertain us with the best parts from his well loved Christmassy tales and stories, in a fun festive way.

‘Dickens at Christmas’ is funded by UCLan’s Contemporary Art Development Group and the School of Language, Literature and International Studies.
