Artist Lubaina Himid to give a talk about her work in Preston

You may have seen her work around the Preston already. In the windows of many empty shops that sadly litter the city Lubainas’ work brightens up the otherwise dull space. If you have not stopped to have a look already do so as soon as you can as the exhibition will end on 3 November.

Lubaina will present a talk about her exhibition, Moments That Matter, also on show at the Harris.

International Lubaina Himid visualises 50 stories from North West people involved in projects connected with the London 2012 Olympics in a series called Moments That Matter.

Moments That Matter is co-commissioned by Cultural Olympiad and Nations and Regions Group, North West. Supported by WE PLAY Expo, Preston Guild 2012 and UCLan.
