Gospel Concert with Elsa Harris and the St Helens Gospel Choir

A Gospel Concert featuring Elsa Harris of Chicago with the St Helens Gospel Choir will take place at the City Chucrh on North Road in Preston on 20 October.

Elsa is an outstanding vocalist and pianist, and was the Choir Director, Vocalist and Pianist for ‘The King of Gospel’ Jessy Dixon (Jessy Dixon Ministries).

Elsa was named ‘A Legend of Chicago Gospel Music’ in Chicago’s Grant’s Park in 2010. Elsa has worked with many Gospel greats and also toured for 7 years with Paul Simon. She has agreed to perform at this concert in aid of work being carried out with children affected by war in Sri Lanka by the North West’s Epiphany Trust Charity.

A presentation about their work in Sri Lanka will be given on the evening.
