The Friends of Ribbleton Library transformed the area around the building to scoop the Best Overall Project at the It’s Your Neighbourhood Awards.

The awards, hosted in Southport by the Royal Horticultural Society, reward those groups who go the extra mile for their local area.

The team also won the Best Small Neighbourhood Trophy for the second year running.

The friends group also scooped an award at the Britain in Bloom Awards in October last year.
