last night at the Preston Marriott Hotel football great Peter Shilton talked about his inspirations and career as one of Englands finest Sportsman. Preston born BBC TV pundit Mark Lawrenson hosted the host the evening.

Raising money for the Babybeat Appeal this fantastic evening was arranged by the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce as a thank you for their work. Chamber Members got to meet with Peter and Mark at a VIP Reception.

There were tales of Peter’s fabulous career, sharing the joy and drama as told by the man who has seen it all. Peter is arguably the finest Goalkeeper ever to play for England, earning a record 125 International Caps – a feat which no England Player has come close to matching since!
