Open now at the Harris Museum and Art Gallery is international artist Lubaina Himid’s contemporary exhibition of paintings and photographs visualising North West legacy stories assembled from 50 people who participated in London 2012 from the sports stadium to culture, from schools to businesses and volunteers.
50 Trophy Cups painted on paper have been individually created using unique words and descriptions shared by participants with the artist. Lubaina Himid visualises their stories in a series called Moments that Matter.
